Mae Dewi Sant wedi anfon cais ysgrifenedig am wythnos o wyliau at swyddfa’r Esgob. Mae e eisiau mynd dramor i weld cwpl o seintiau eraill yn Ewrop.

– Mae’r Esgob hefyd ar streic! ebycha Dewi Sant.
– Falle bod egwyddorion ‘da fe wedi’r cwbl, awgryma Daf y gath.
– Nag oes, ateb Dewi Sant, – Siŵr o fod ma fe jyst isie mynd ar wyliau ychwanegol ei hunan wedi rhedeg mas o wyliau blynyddol.

Saint David has sent a written request for a week’s holiday to the Bishop’s office. He wants to go abroad to see a couple of other saints in Europe.
A few days later, he receives a letter in a red envelope.
– The Bishop is also on strike! exclaims Saint David.
– Maybe he has some principles after all, suggests Dave the cat.
– No, answers Saint David, – He probably just wants to go on extra holidays himself after running out of annual leave.
