Mae Dewi Sant am groeshoelio Eifion yr octopws.
– Bach yn harsh, ynde? Allet ti ddim aros tan y Pasg? meddai Daf y gath.
– Rhaid i ni gysidro’r ratings, ateb Dewi Sant. – Ac mae e wedi pechu, beth bynnag.
– Be’ ma’ fe ‘di ‘neud? gofyn Daf.
– Wedd e’n mynnu dweud “llefrith”, meddai Dewi gydag ochenaid.
– O wel, digon teg.
Ond, digwydd bod, mae’n amhosib croeshoelio octopws, yn enwedig octopws sydd yn dweud “llefrith”. Wedi bach o ffrae, mae Dewi Sant wedi cael ei glymu wrth bolyn. Mae Eifion yn edrych yn hapus iawn.
– Chdi angan bod yn glyfrach i ddelio hefo rhywun fatha fi, meddai yn fuddugol.

Saint David wants to crucify Eifion the octopus.
– A bit harsh, isn’t it? Couldn’t you wait until Easter? says Dave the cat.
– We must consider the ratings, replies Saint David. – And anyway, he has sinned.
– What’s he done then? asks Dave.
– He was insisting on saying “llefrith”, says Dewi with a sigh.
– Oh well, fair enough.
But, as it happens, it is impossible to crucify an octopus, especially an octopus that says “llefrith”. After a bit of a fracas, Saint David has been tied to a pole. Eifion looks very very happy.
– You need to be cleverer to deal with someone like me, he says triumphantly.
