703: Carreg Coetan Arthur

Mae Jeff y gath yn cael gweledigaeth seicedelig lle mae hi’n teithio yng nghwmni’r enwog Julian Cope ac ymweld â safleoedd cyn-hanesyddol Sir Benfro, sydd yn esgus gwan am ddatblygiad plot.

Maen nhw wedi cyrraedd cromlech arall o’r enw Carreg Coetan Arthur. Mae capfaen Carreg Coetan Arthur yn dewach na’r un Pentre Ifan.

Mae gan yr enwog Julian Cope damcaniaeth. Wrth gwrs.

Mae e’n dechrau gosod ei syniadau allan.

– ‘Set ti’n gallu gweld y Preselau, meddai wrth chwifio braich yng nghyfeiriad cyffredinol y niwl, – byddet ti’n sylweddoli taw rhan o ryngwaith cyn-hanesyddol trafnidiaeth gyhoeddus ydy hon. Enghraifft gynnar o safle bysiau yw hi.

– Ti’n tynnu’n nghoes, meddai Jeff y gath. – Pwy yw Arthur, eniwê?

– Fi yw Arthur, meddai dyn byr yr Oes Cerrig, yn taro dwy garreg ar ei gilydd. – Aros am y bws ydw i.

– Ti’n gweld? meddai’r enwog Julian Cope.

Carreg Coetan Arthur

Jeff the cat is having a psychedelic vision where she travels in the company of the famous Julian Cope and visits the pre-historic sites of Pembrokeshire, which is a flimsy pretext for plot development.

They have reached another cromlech called Carreg Coetan Arthur. The Carreg Coetan Arthur capstone is fatter than Pentre Ifan’s.

The famous Julian Cope has a theory. Of course.

He begins to expound his ideas.

– If you could see the Preselis, he said while waving an arm in the general direction of the fog, – you would reality that this is part of a pre-historic public transport network. It’s an early example of a bus stop.

– You’re pulling my leg, says Jeff the cat. – Who is Arthur, anyway?

– I’m Arthur, says a short Stone Age man, banging two rocks together. – I’m waiting for the bus.

– You see? says the famous Julian Cope.
