Yn siop lyfrau Dewi Sant, mae’r ffôn yn canu, ond mae Dewi Sant wedi yfed gormod i’w ateb.

Ond pwy bynnag sy’n galw, maen nhw’n ddyfalbarhaus tu hwnt.

Yn y pen draw, mae’r enwog Bryn Terfel yn ateb. Hen ddyn sydd ar ben arall y llinell.

– Oes gynnoch chi gopi o “Pysgota Plu” gan J. R. Hartley? meddai’r hen ddyn.

– Na.

Mae Bryn Terfel eisoes wedi difetha jôc y bennod, mae’n debyg.

– Bryn, ti fod i ofyn iddo fe pwy yw e, meddai Daf y gath.

– Na. J. R. R. Hartley yw e. Mae fe ‘di haslo fi o’r blan. Gad lonydd i fi.

A chyda hynny, mae’r enwog Bryn Terfel yn mynd i ymguddio mewn cwpwrdd.

Fly Fishing

In Saint David’s bookshop, the phone is ringing, but Saint David has drunk too much to answer it.

But whoever is calling, they are extremely persistent.

Eventually, the famous Bryn Terfel answers. An old man is on the other end of the line.

– Do you have a copy of “Fly Fishing” by J. R. Hartley? says the old man.

– No.

Bryn Terfel has already ruined the episode’s joke, it seems.

– Bryn, you’re meant to ask him who he is, says Dave the cat.

– No. It’s J. R. R. Hartley. He’s hassled me before. Leave me alone.

And with that, the famous Bryn Terfel goes to hide in a cupboard.
