What do anaesthetists do?
Anaesthetists help surgeons prepare for operations. They put people to sleep. Literally, not like sick animals. Hopefully.
Sometimes, they only put part of the body to sleep, so that the patient cannot feel what is happening.
Who needs surgery? Is someone sick?
No.
Dave the cat certainly does not want to have an operation, but she is very interested in the anaesthetist’s drugs.
