Mae Daf y gath wedi dod o hyd i fan newydd, felly mae hi’n treulio ei hamser yn dosbarthu pob math o bethau.

Weithiau mae hi’n dosbarthu pethau i’r lleoedd iawn. Weithiau ddim.

Ond heddiw, mae’r fan — sydd yn ddim ond blwch cardbord — wedi torri i lawr. Diolch byth, mae Daf wedi torri i lawr y tu fas i’r garej leol.

Mae’r peiriannydd yn sugno’i ddannedd.

– Mae popeth ‘di chwalu. Tisie blwch newydd? meddai’r peiriannydd wrth ddangos blwch plastig i Daf. Mae’r blwch yn edrych yn gyflym iawn.

– Odw, diolch yn fawr. Faint yw e’n costio?

– Mil o bunnoedd, ond bydd e’n rhatach yn yr hir dymor.

– Oes unrhyw beth rhatach gyda chi? gofynna Daf yn obeithiol.

– Hen dwb hufen iâ? Mae’n mynd yn araf, ond mae’n gyffyrddus, meddai’r peiriannydd.

– Faint yw e’n costio?

– Cant o bunnoedd, gyda thanc llawn o danwydd.

– O da iawn, meddai Daf. – Diolch yn fawr.

The local garage

Daf the cat has found a new place, so she is spending her time delivering all kinds of things.

Sometimes she delivers things to the right places. Sometimes not.

But today, the van – which is just a cardboard box – has broken down. Thankfully, Dave has broken down outside the local garage.

The mechanic sucks his teeth.

– Everything is broken. D’you want a new box? says the mechanic while showing Dave a plastic box. The box looks very fast.

– Oh, thank you very much. How much does it cost?

– A thousand pounds, but it will be cheaper in the long run.

– Do you have anything cheaper? Daf asks hopefully.

– An old ice cream tub? It goes slowly, but it’s comfortable, says the mechanic.

– How much does it cost?

– One hundred pounds, with a full tank of fuel.

– Oh very good, says Dave. – Thank you very much.
