Daeth Jeff o dan gât yr ardd, gyda bach o ymdrech. Cath calico oedd hi, yr oedd tamaid bach yn dew. Wel, dim yn dew yn union. “Esgyrn mawr” oedd gyda hi.
– Ble mae’r staff? meddai Jeff, yn anywybyddu’r lwmp mawr o ddraig a oedd o’i blaen hi.
– Sai ‘mod, atebai Daf y gath. – ond edrycha ar hon.
Cafodd Jeff gipolwg ar y ddraig, a oedd yn cysgu’n sownd unwaith eto. Doedd hi ddim yn perthnasol i’w diddordebau hi.
– So hi’n berthnasol i’n niddordebau. Ble mae’r staff? Ble mae’r staff?
Ymddangosodd aelod o staff trwy’r drws cefn, yn cario dwy bowlen. Oediodd, ac yna taflu’r powlenni i lan i’r awyr, cyn rhedeg bant yn sgrechian.
– Amdani, meddai Jeff.

Jeff came under the garden gate, with a bit of effort. She was a calico cat, who was a bit fat. Well, not fat exactly. She had “big bones”.
– Where’s the staff? said Jeff, ignoring the big lump of a dragon which was in front of her.
– Dunno, answered Dave the cat. – but look at this.
Jeff glanced at the dragon, who was sleeping soundly once again. It was not relevant to her interests.
– It is not relevant to my interests. Where’s the staff? Where’s the staff?
A member of staff appeared through the back door, carrying two bowls. They paused, and then threw the bowls into the air, before running away screaming.
– Off we go, said Jeff.
